Cancer of the Lung Lining, Cause

Almost 90% percent of people who have Cancer of the Lung Lining have experienced working on a work place where they had breathed asbestos. Asbestos exposure takes place when asbestos particles are inhaled or ingested into the body and stocked up in organ tissues like pleura or mesothelium causing inflammation and eventually causes cancer of the lung lining. Asbestos is a fibrous substance that is widely used in industries, that later found to be a harmful substance especially to the lung lining.

Asbestos is also widely used in household environment even without being conscious about it. After knowing that asbestos is the main reason for Cancer of the Lung lining the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration institute the restriction of asbestos in some places on the year 1983.
